If you’re looking for an authentic fusion of Jamaican ???????? & Guyanese ???????? home style cooked food then The Jerk Shack is where you need to go! We loved the artwork on the wall which gave the feeling of being back home along with the reggae music in the background This is a family run business and you can see that they enjoy what they do and the food is made with love The food was delicious, large portions and freshly made making it feel like a Sunday dinner at home Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the homemade fruit punch as it was finished but will do next time! The jerk chicken & jerk pork was fresh off the grill, well seasoned and moist The escovitch fish was my favourite, we also had prawns The restaurant is small but they were able to accommodate our family of 13 to celebrate our Pop’s 83rd birthday. We were able to book in advance and they went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and enjoyed our meals They don’t have a large menu but have executed what is on the menu very well which shows that it’s quality over quantity and you don’t need to have a large menu to provide good food Lastly they are working on a larger space downstairs in the restaurant where they will be able to accommodate larger groups of people for events This restaurant has great potential and I believe that with more attention to detail with the food presentation, staff and space they will excel! We will be back soon!

went here with a couple of friends and had a great meal. big portion sizes, very delicious food and friendly staff. we had a vegan with us who had the vegetarian curry and really enjoyed it. we also gota side plantain which was delicious. will be going back
